II Kings Chap. 5 | ARC
11 But Naaman was very wroth, and went away, saying, Behold, I said to myself, Surely he shall go out, and stand on his feet, and call upon the name of the LORD his God, and shall sweep his hand over the place, and will restore the leper.1
2 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean? And he turned and went away in indignation.
13 Then his servants came near to him, and spoke to him, and said, My father, if the prophet had told you some great thing, would you not do it? How much more, when he says to you, Wash yourself and you will be clean!
We often place our trust in people, places, things...
But God proves that he does not depend on circumstances to operate, He is jealous in the Power of His Word,
Naaman looked at the river and didn't see anything good, he didn't see the possibility of a cure, the scenario is rotten and fetid, totally improbable...
Maybe you're still not where you wanted to be, maybe everything has closed, there's not even a light at the end of the tunnel, you're already about to give up because you don't see a way out!...
Maybe you're like Naaman afraid of getting worse if you dive into that river..
But if God told you to dive, don't question it!, don't look at the state the waters are in, don't be afraid of the river's filth, this pollution doesn't affect you!
Dive because when you come up clean, you'll know it was God, not the waters, You'll know it was God, it wasn't A or B, IT WAS GOD!!!! IT WAS GOD!
